We don’t know if it is the mountain air or the beginning of our 12th day of traveling, but we are tired!  In addition to the mountain air, Doug had a very rough night, so he is more tired than me. Therefore, this morning we just took it easy and relaxed in our room, until almost 10 o’clock, when we went to the Gold Lounge for breakfast.  The views are simply spectacular from this lounge area.

We were both scheduled for a massage at 1:45pm today, just before we depart around 4pm for Banff.  We also planned to eat before we left.  We traveled to Banff via another motorcoach, Discover Banff.  The trip took approximately 1 hours. Doug nodded on and off throughout the ride, while I was mostly awake. We arrived at our hotel, the Moose Hotel, about 5:15.

Tomorrow, we are scheduled to go on a tour of Banff National Park tomorrow.  We think that it will be similar to the trip that we took to Lake Louise, in which we traveled through Jasper National Park and a portion of Banff National Park. However, it will include a gondola ride to a summit near the top of the park.

We had dinner at the hotel, then settled in for the evening.

2nd row: mountains seen from Lake Louise to Banff, Castle Mountain (3rd photo)

3rd row: street scenes on Banff Ave.

4th row: street scenes Banff, mountain at entrance to the town.
