Rain, rain, all day a steady rain in Central Pennsylvania. We did not go anywhere today and did nothing outside of the RV. Just as though we were at home in Atlanta on a rainy day, we stayed indoors and worked on various "chores" and projects.
Earlier on this trip, Patrise astutely observed that this RV was like a single bedroom, one bathroom house on wheels. And just with any house, there is a degree of cleaning and maintenance to keep up with. Today was a perfect for doing just that.
We swept the floor; we cleaned the bathroom; we reorganized all of the shelves and storage drawers. We consolidated souvenirs and managed to organize and store them in one area. We cleaned out the refrigerator. We had turkey sandwiches for lunch that I made. Tonight, we will go into town to pick up some renewed prescriptions for Patrise -- thank goodness for CVS pharmacies -- and we will have dinner at a local restaurant.
I finished the blogpost for yesterday, May 5, about our tour of the Gettysburg historical sites. Tomorrow, we will leave here and head for Philadelphia with a side detour to Hershey, PA. There is no way we could be this close and bypass 101 Chocolate World Way!
Here are some pics of the inside of the RV.

The front of the RV, the driver and passenger seats. That curtain in the background is the privacy curtain we put in place, when we are stationed at a campsite or for the evening.

The dinner table which is also the working table. Note the efficient combination of laptops and fruit in the same proximity. Also note the television conveniently located.

The stove, oven and sink

The refrigerator: pretty well stocked and organized.
We'll be driving in the rain tomorrow, but hopefully getting out of it here into Philly over the weekend.
